One room. Two shadows.
He thinks he owns the world, proud and conceited.
She thinks she found love, thinking fondly of her lover.
Two people from two different worlds.
They journeyed through life,
but find themselves trapped together in a room they cannot leave.
What will happen as time passes?
Room 0505 is a work-in-progress presentation of a newly devised play by Lina Yu and Ramith Ramesh. Incorporating elements of Asian traditional forms in Kutiyattam and Beijing Opera, it is a re-imagination of a different room from Jean-Paul Sartre’s No Exit.
