Roots and Wings

With the support from Kampong Glam Community Arts and Culture Club (CACC), this artwork is a culmination of a series of biodiversity and art workshops conducted by Arterly Obsessed in collaboration with Untamed Paths, attended by residents of Kampong Glam.

Participants attended a guided tour to observe the biodiversity in the neighbourhood, followed by an art making session to document their walk. The community piece also reflects on the SG60 theme of “Building Our Singapore Together” and invites viewers to ponder about the delicate balance between urbanisation and nature conservation in our island home.
