The phrase “round the corner” symbolises something imminent—an event or discovery just around the bend. As the title suggests, this exhibition marks a pivotal moment for 14 MA Fine Arts candidates, showcasing their ongoing research and creative practice at its midpoint.
Through a contemplative exploration of diverse mediums and techniques, these artists seek to unravel the relationship between meaning and materiality. Their works span drawing, video, animation, photography, painting, sculpture and installation. Each candidate poses personal questions, reflecting their unique interests and approaches, cultivated through studio experimentation, group critique and collaborative discussion.
