Curated by JL.Desert.Rose, SAFFRON & EMBER 赤焰花影 brings together 16 local and international artists in a vibrant showcase of contemporary artistic expression. Inspired by themes of transformation, resilience, memory, and renewal, the exhibition explores how materials, forms, colours, and processes can evoke both personal and collective narratives.
Featuring a diverse range of artistic practices—including painting, ceramics, printmaking, paper art, mixed media, and contemporary craft—the exhibition celebrates the unique voices and creative journeys of each participating artist. Together, the artworks create a rich dialogue between tradition and innovation, delicacy and strength, reflection and discovery.
Beyond the exhibition, visitors are invited to engage directly with the creative process through artist-led workshops, conversations, and an open house gathering. The weekend offers a welcoming space for art lovers, collectors, makers, and the wider community to connect, exchange ideas, and experience art in an intimate and inspiring setting.
