Same Ground is an exhibition by Jonathan Joven. The exhibition is part of Art Trek, the 12th edition this year.

In Same Ground, Jonathan Joven’s paintings invite us to see life from the ground up – his use of perspective is not just a worm’s eye view, it is a view from the ground underneath the worm. By exploring this subterranean view, his observations on society, its players and the roles they take on in particular aspects in their lives, Joven introduces us to angles that we rarely see. Nevertheless, all stand on the same earth of the same planet, and no matter what our status in life, the culture we were born in or the education we received, we remain beings of the same humanity, rooted on the same ground anywhere we go, covered by the same sky in equal measure.
