Pioneer #artist See Hiang To (1906-1990) was a teacher and mentor to many second generation artists in Singapore, including Cultural Medallion artists Wee Beng Chong and Tan Kian Por.
He came to Singapore from Fujian in 1938 and taught at Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts from 1941 for almost 40 years.
