This exhibition explores Thai heritage, identity, and cultural memory through the use of modern digital techniques that preserve and reimagine ancient traditions. Thai artist-educators Gomesh Karnchanapayap and Atithep Chaetnalao from the Faculty of Decorative Arts, Silpakorn University showcase their research and artistic practice in immersive interactive experiences where audiences delve into Thailand’s rich spiritual and symbolic traditions, including a virtual exhibition honouring King Bhumibol Adulyadej and an extended reality experience on the cultural origins of Sak Yant tattoos. Blending art, research, and digital storytelling, the exhibition offers new and embodied ways to understand Thailand’s cultural history.
