#SGFASHIONNOW 2022 takes on the theme “Architecture of Drapes” to present a fresh look at contemporary Singapore fashion. The designers have used their interpretations of what drapery is in creating the ensembles and outfits on display. Co-curated with students from the School of Fashion at LASALLE College of the Arts, this showcase continues ACM’s investigation of fashion through the lens of Singapore’s port city heritage.
This second edition of #SGFASHIONNOW brings together works from 16 Singapore designers, including Ashley Isham, Latika Balachander of LABAL, Max Tan, Thomas Wee, and Jon Max Goh – winner of Singapore Stories 2021, an annual fashion design competition organised by the Textile and Fashion Federation (TaFF), in collaboration with ACM. The exhibition will be accompanied by public programmes and an e-publication.
