‘Shadow Earth’ by Melbourne-based photographer-artist Emmanuel “Mannix” Tolentino Santos is a photographic exploration that portrays the changing world around us. Aptly important and relevant in light of the Covid-19 pandemic today, the works highlight humanity’s cultural alienation from within, with unfamiliar landscapes reflecting the negligence of the world populace in managing a healthy planet. On the other hand, the works pay homage to the beauty, the mystic and physiological evolution of our planet earth.
