Fascinated by this mysterious city, Pascale Monté-Papée invites us to stroll along old Shanghai Streets and to share the lifestyle of the nineties.
Her two years stay in Shanghai brought her to the streets of this fascinating city at a time of major transformations. She has produced several hundred black and white photographs of which twenty were shown at the exhibition << Shanghai: Art in every day life >> in 1994 in Shanghai. Back to Asia, currently residing in Singapore, she decided to publish a book with a selection of her photographs and to make an exhibition as a photographic testimonial of a by-gone.
