Shifting Stillness brings together 18 new oil paintings in an exploration of colour, surface and gesture. It highlights the simple yet often overlooked act of seeing. Detailed in its creation yet purposefully ambiguous in expression, the vibrant paintings lure the viewer to take a look from up close and then afar. Her paintings embody a sense of tension that drifts between the stillness and phenomenal movement of colours which continually changes the longer we observe them.
