“I am interested in how everyday objects are so visually prominent in our urban environment, yet they fall into the background after an extended period in the same space. I am going researching further onto the plants (i.e. trees, grass, wild flowers) and urban objects that constitute our surrounding space (i.e. walkway, parking lots, and houses). I will take this observation and transform them into drawing and watercolor or acrylic in the process of reducing them three-dimension form into flat shapes.” ~ Shirly Koh
