The Icelandic band Sigur Rós will play alongside Resound Collective, a Singapore-based musicians’ collective, for two shows on 25 & 26 February 2025, at the Esplanade Theatre.
Sigur Rós embarked on an impressive orchestra tour that showcased their ethereal soundscapes with orchestral arrangements. The tour features collaborations with various symphony orchestras, creating a unique and immersive experience for fans. Classical pieces from their discography are reimagined in a grander context. The band – guitarist Jón Þór “Jónsi” Birgisson, bassist Georg Hólm and keyboardist Kjartan Sveinsson – will perform a mix of newer tracks alongside beloved favourites, promising a captivating journey through their music.
