SIK:蝕

Hatch Art Project presents Korean artist Gunwoo Shin’s first solo exhibition in Singapore. The exhibition focuses on the concept of SIK: 蝕, a Sino-Korean character that means ‘to eat into, erode, encroach upon, or eclipse’. The exhibition will feature new and inspiring surreal relief works, sculptures, and paintings. In his works, many of which feature mythological and religious iconography, SIK: 蝕 is manifested in figures who have reached or are seeking enlightenment.

When: 8 Oct - 12 Nov 2022,
