400 years after his death, William Shakespeare’s plays remain well-loved.
Join our Acting and Musical Theatre students, together with others from Music, Fashion Design and Textiles, Audio Production, and Technical and Production Management, as they come together to present two of Shakespeare’s most dizzying plays.
Measure for Measure is one of Shakespeare’s most enigmatic plays where Machiavellian force, fraud, and spectacle are put on full display. It begins as a tragedy, but halfway through it becomes a comedy.
Cymbeline boasts some of Shakespeare’s greatest poetry and enduring characters mixed together in a plot that changes genre as often as its scenery. One of the most joyous plays, Shakespeare piles joy upon joy in the final act to ensure that a happy ending is hammered home.
