Curated by national icon Dick Lee in his debut as an exhibition-maker, SingaPop! will take you on a vibrant, heartfelt and nostalgic journey through five immersive chapters that explore the people, stories and traditions which make us uniquely Singaporean.
This spans the rise of Singlish and hawker culture to iconic moments across National Day celebrations and local music, film, and fashion – bringing together Lee’s own close community of movers and shakers who have shaped our vibrant entertainment scene.
As Singapore steps into a brand new decade, look back on how we have forged a shared identity by embracing our multicultural, or ‘rojak’ spirit, and discover your own place in Singapore’s unfolding story.
