The Singapore Chinese Film Festival (SCFF) is back for its fifth edition showcasing the eclectic and very best of Chinese Cinema. From 28 April to 7 May, the festival will be screening more than 45 titles in four programme sections namely Chinese Panorama – a selection of acclaimed and award winning feature films, Documentary Vision – a section on documentary films which puts the spotlight on personal stories and social issues, and Chinese Shorts Showcase which will feature short films of up and coming Singapore filmmaking talents alongside the best short films from Hong Kong, Taiwan and China. The final section this year will be a focus on Restored Classics which celebrates the restoration and preservation of Chinese cinematic heritage for new generations of film audiences.
SCFF is co-organised by Singapore University of Social Sciences and Singapore Film Society.
