The much-anticipated annual Singapore Street Festival (SSF) returns on the 8th of June till the 3rd of July with the theme “CommUnity”! Its 15th anniversary boasts exhilarating acts and impressive art that celebrate the talents of Singapore youth.
This year, Royce Lee, who has hosted respectable events like the BNP Paribas WTA Finals Singapore, joins the SSF as their newest youth leader.
This year’s Street Art showcase will host a more diverse group of artists, from pioneering graffiti artists to traditional muralists and contemporary illustrators, who will showcase their art revolving around the theme CommUnity, at Bugis Junction.
The Big Bang Supa Weekend will feature Battle of The Year (BOTY), the biggest b-boying competition in the world, R16 SG BBoy and Freestyle Session (FSS Special Edition), where winners will represent Singapore at BOTY South Asia in Bangkok and Tokyo.
Be sure to catch much-loved acts such as the D’J Party, Fantabulous Magic, Acoustic, the Singapore Yo-yo Championships (SYYC) and the Asia Pacific Yo-yo Championships (APYYC), set for an epic showdown and also the Asia Global Bellydance Competition and Masterclass featuring World Class Bellydance Divas Sujee, Anastasia Biserova and Foxycat Alice.
