Honouring the Art in Art Therapy celebrates the creative essence at the heart of art therapy practice and education, as well as the shared field of discovery that unfolds, shifts, transforms and is experienced on different levels at different times as part of the intersubjective, relational and responsive dynamics between therapist and client. SPACE invites contemplation on how environments—internal, individual, institutional, interconnected, intersectional—shape, influence, impact and even revolve the practice of art therapy.
