Space, Memory and Hong Kong identity via the lenses of six female Hong Kong artists

Join curator Carol Chow Pui Ha and artists Lau Wai, Law Yuk-Mui and Yvonne Lo Yuen Man for a presentation and discussion on the exhibition ‘A room with a view’.

In the session, Chow highlights the role of photography in documenting the legacy of political and cultural events in Hong Kong, such as the transfer of sovereignty of Hong Kong from the United Kingdom to China in 1997, and economic and urban regeneration. Artists Lau Wai, Law Yuk-Mui and Yvonne Lo Yuen Man also share their perspectives on different concepts of space and memory in their work.
