Spectrum

Spectrum is a group exhibition by Jacelyn Zhen (Singapore), Sulung Widya Prasastya (Indonesia), Siam Artista (Indonesia) and Rukkit Kuanhawate (Thailand) that explores the range of possibilities, different applications and significance of colours in the artists’ individual practices.

Jacelyn expresses her emotions through abstract forms and soft pastel palettes, evoking a sense of calm in her audiences. Sulung’s works combine geometric and symmetrical shapes, presenting unique colour compositions and visual experiences. Inspired by lowbrow pop surrealism, Siam’s practice merges traditional Cirebon visual forms with popular culture references. In contrast, Rukkit’s street-inspired art focuses on figurative, geometric animal forms in bold hues.
