Cultural Medallion recipient and illustrious NAFA alumnus Tay Chee Toh presents his 11th solo exhibition, showcasing over 20 works in Chinese ink inspired by his travels and observations in Southeast Asia. Tay’s multidisciplinary background informs an unconventional approach using energetic brushstrokes, stylised forms and seals realised in a large-scale format. He captures the spirit and vitality of majestic equines with expressive momentum, demonstrating a contemporary vision that boldly reinterprets a classic motif.
