Confluence Art Space introduces “Still Waters Run Deep”, its first group exhibition since the grand opening late last year. The exhibition will showcase 12 exquisite works by six renowned Singaporean artists – Chen Cheng Mei, Lim Mu Hue, Siew Hock Meng, Tan Choh Tee, Wee Shoo Leong, and Wong Shih Yaw.
Like how a serene water surface belies the great depths of streams, a placid exterior reveals extraordinary complexity and energy. The artists featured in “Still Waters Run Deep” employ vastly different styles, yet every painting challenges visitors to delve deeper. As the exhibition title suggests, the audience is encouraged to look beyond the pictorial and appreciate the inherent quiet passion of each artwork on display.
