Based on the conservation journey of a Peranakan children’s vest (2008-00209), “Stitches of Love – Through the Looking Glass of a Textile Conservator” hopes to deepen public appreciation of the conservation treatment of textile artefacts. From artefact viewing to displaying, this sharing session will cast light on the intricacies of the delicate conservation process and the diverse stakeholders involved. Learn more about the multifaceted world of Textile Conservation in this sharing session conducted by the Heritage Conservation Centre’s textile conservator, Mr Chuance Chen.
