A heating planet is the hot body no one ever wanted. But with a future of rising heat on the horizon, how will every other body on the planet cope? As our climate has changed, the way we dress has not kept up. The upcoming HOT BODIES exhibition, running from 6 – 28 December 2025 at New Bahru, is an investigation into the innovative ways fashion and apparel can radically reinvent how human bodies cope with rising global heat.
The upcoming exhibition will showcase specially commissioned pieces co-created by artists and designers from around the world, in collaboration with design and brand agency Anak. Featured names include Jean Jullien (FR), Harri (UK), Tanchen (SG), Greater Goods (UK), and Front Office (AUS/JP).
Ahead of the upcoming exhibition in December, join Anak at their Singapore creative studio during SDW for an exclusive, behind-the-scenes look at the creative process, and a special preview. This intimate experience includes a walkthrough of the workspace, first look at the collection, and dive into how design can help us adapt and thrive in an increasingly hotter world.
