Going, Going, Gone…??? is the very first SAD, The Substation’s new signature programme. Taking place from 6pm to midnight, it’s a madhouse of art, ideas, and performances colliding in one space. With two episodes in the month of September, Going, Going, Gone…??? kicks off with a panel discussion before unfolding into a slew of performances.
On 1 September, take a walk down memory lane with some of Singapore’s landscape luminaries, William S.W. Lim, Tan Cheng Siong, and Daniel Teo, who share why they’ll Never Say Die!
On 15 September, get insights on Singapore’s intangible cultural heritage and practices from CMIO perspectives. Panelists include Fauzy Ismail and Kevin Martens Wong.
Proceedings for the episodes also include renditions of National Day songs, a reading of Boey Kim Cheng’s ‘Change Alley’, getai singers, and even a nostalgic auction—all set against the backdrop of a Chinese opera stage.
Admission: $15/$25 with 2 free drinks.
