Svetlana Petrova, 'Chua Mia Tee, Epic Poem of the Cat in Malaya', size L 54 x H 63
The exhibition will showcase 20 limited editions mixed media creations specially commissioned from Svetlana Petrova. Petrova’s unique practice, synthesising digital art with classical painting and her deep sense of humour, is exemplified through art pieces such as her rendition of Mona Lisa with her cat in the scene and Mount Fuji in the background.

The artist purchases or commissions super high resolution images from the museums. And she has multiple photo sessions with the cat assisted by a team of art professionals friends. Svetlana also makes herself photos of the cat every day when he wants to pose, and thankfully he enjoys posing.
Some of the transformative artworks in the exhibition are takes on famous masterpieces by Van Gogh, Degas, Monet, Klimt and Vermeer, as well as National Gallery Singapore’s famous Epic Poem of Malaya by Chua Mie Tee.
