Some highlights of the show include Mr Tan’s succinct guise of a waiting cat, a multi-coloured crab, depiction of quiet back alleys as well as a contemplative painting titled “A Prosperous Pear”.
These paintings are fine examples of the artist’s fascinating understanding and approach toward ink painting. 18 paintings by the artist were thoughtfully selected for this showcase.

Mr Tan Oe Pang’s inventive way of looking at art is also demonstrated through his unique approach toward calligraphy writing. We are happy to share that a handful of Mr Tan’s calligraphy writings would also be showcased during the exhibition.
