Organised by the Ngee Ann Cultural Centre (NACC), The Ngee Ann National Teochew Artists’ Exhibition is now in its 21st edition. This exhibition is an annual showcase of works by the local community of Teochew artists in Singapore. Each year, the NACC honours an outstanding local Teochew artist with the Ngee Ann Artist of the Year Award for their artistic achievements and dedication to art making. The award was established in 1999 to encourage local Teochew artists to realise their artistic potential, pursue excellence in visual arts and in turn inspire other artists.
