The 9 Lives Show 2019 (2nd Edition) returns with its flagship event, The 9 Lives Art & Design Exhibition on 15-17 March that also includes a night bazaar on 15 March. The exhibition will be held at 51 Waterloo Street #02-01, Singapore 187969. The 9 Lives Show 2019 is officially part of the Singapore Design Week (SDW) 2019 Satellite Programme.
This year’s event showcases the multi-faceted creations of 9 artists whose work reflects the robust and vibrant arts landscape in Singapore. Through their respective genres (photography, illustration, fibre art, ceramics, literature, visual art, videography and paint), the artists will address the theme: How might we present stories of urbanization in Singapore affecting the ecosystems that are knitted to them, specifically cats? Their curated artistic expressions aim to provide new points of view in the ongoing dialogue that centre on animal welfare; in particular, cats and urbanization.
