The Bizarre Honour by OH! Open House

“The loss of life by tigers in this district still continues very frightful, there being at least one person taken per day.” – The Overland Singapore Free Press, 1 July 1851

Less than two hundred years ago, tigers were pests in colonial Singapore. Now, they only exist in zoos. They are ghosts of the war between man and nature, waged since this country was dense with forests rather than buildings.

OH! Open House presents The Bizarre Honour, a work chronicling the contentious relationship between this island and its human inhabitants, from colony to city-state.
