The Everlusting Tales

Visual artist and printmaker, Djohan Hanapi, presents his series The Sultry Princesses at UltraSuperNew Gallery Singapore. Opening on 19th March 2020, Thursday, 7.00pm, the series embraces the beauty of eroticism and subtle humour. One half of well-known Risograph publishing and printing studio, Knuckles & Notch, Hanapi’s works are often misunderstood for being merely sexual. With the influence of pop culture, he juxtaposes iconic classics from childhood with overtly sexual positions, creating a new visual realm of what can be, behind closed doors.

Opening Reception: 19th March 2020, 7.00pm till 10.00pm
