Experience Mulyana’s iconic and vibrant sea coral soft sculptures pieces, his signature octopus-like creatures and alias Mogus, and for the very first time two wearable artworks, all of which are part of a deeper message in his very first solo exhibition in Singapore, now open in Art Porters room 1.

The Messenger invites audiences to reconnect with their own faith and beliefs, encouraging them to re-read the messages that have guided them and to make meaning of them. The works presented in the exhibition, though static in nature, are able to transform and develop in different directions, a reflection of the artist’s own intentions to remind us that we are all capable to create beauty and to share kindness and happiness.

An artwork by Mulyana is also selected by S.E.A. Focus 2021 for their physical exhibition, under the curatorial theme of hyper-horizon (20 January to 31st January 2021).
