Wildcard presents an experience led by Michael Cu Fua’s exhibition, centred on the circularity of food and art; exploring ideas of source, sustainability, and how both mediums act as parallel forms of expression.
On the walls, works carry natural pigments that quietly highlight material traces, where food becomes memory, residue, and presence on paper. Food begins as something we consume, but doesn’t disappear – it transforms.
In the kitchen, Chef Mathieu Canet (formerly of Le Dauphin, Paris) presents a menu of circularity – not only giving ingredients a second life, but also using food to evoke flavor memories and foster connection, true to the artist-run roots of FOOOD (NYC) which he runs.
