In the wake of chaos and destruction, how do we navigate the void left behind? “The Weight of Now” by Vincent Leow explores the emotional aftermath of conflict—where absence and memory converge, reshaping identities, communities, and landscapes in ways both seen and unseen.
Through a series of evocative paintings showing from 9 — 17 Feb 2025 at Art Outreach, Leow bears witness to resilience in the face of devastation, offering a contemplative space for reflection on the human spirit where layers of paint echo the weight of memory, loss, and survival.
This exhibition challenges us to consider what it means to exist in spaces marked by loss and the unseen forces that shape our perceptions of memory.
