The Winston Oh Travelogue Award 2018: What the stars are telling us

Nur Liyana Bte Ali, Concrete constellation, 2018

The stars, the moon and the sun have long been used by travelers as navigational tools. What would happen if we were to follow the stars as historic travelers once did? What would they tell us?

This exhibition presents research and works in a range of media by recipients of this year’s Winston Oh Travelogue Award. The annual award enables selected students from the McNally School of Fine Arts to travel abroad and develop their artistic research and practice.

Practice Award recipients and their destinations are: Dylan Chan (Japan), Chok Si Xuan (Vietnam), Kimie Kwan (Cambodia), Ng Qi Hui (Thailand), and Joyce Tan (Bhutan)

Research Award recipients and their destinations are: Tristan Lim (South Korea), Nur Liyana Binte Ali (Japan), Muhammad Masuri Bin Mazlan (Japan), Chloe Po (Japan), and Nerissa Tan (Sweden)

Venue: Institute of Contemporary Arts Singapore, Praxis Space and Project Space, LASALLE College of the Arts, 1 McNally Street, Singapur 187940
