A book is a collection of recorded information, meant to record and disseminate information. Broadly classified into different categories, its definition is shaped by content, format, and purpose. This exhibition challenges the assumption of visual representation as identical to the represented object, examining the ‘book’ as a contested space where boundaries between form and function blur. Here, artists propose alternate forms to the ‘book’, reinventing it as an ever-evolving medium.
