“This Particular Place” is a group show featuring works byHarshita Agarwal, Akai Chew, Smiha Kapoor, Chan Wan Kyn, Post-Museum, and Leonard Yang Curated by Chew, the exhibition explores displacement as an embodied way of being, highlighting how artists use spaces to express themselves.
Inspired by the philosopher Henri Lefebvre, who emphasised the differences in how physical spaces are thought, experienced, and seen, “This Particular Place” hopes to illustrate how these spaces influence our behaviour, shaping our perceptions and experiences, and uncovering the stories we tell ourselves about our dwellings.
