This December, dancers from T.H.E. Dance Company will bring the season to a close with a trio of breath-taking contemporary dance pieces. “Three Kin” will showcase two brand new works from choreographers Dimo Kirilov Milev and T.H.E’s resident choreographer Kim Jae Duk, as well as a restaging of Kuik Swee Boon’s “Water Bloom”, 8 years after it was commissioned by the NUS Arts Festival in 2009. Multiple layers of dialogue emerge in “Three Kin” – person to person; body against body; human and environment – amongst the dancers; so too as a three-way conversation between items.
