Watch time stand still all around you as you venture into the latest exhibition of sculptures by French Resin artist, François Bel. Bel takes ordinary memorabilia and encases them within a sculpture of perpetuity. Through his latest series of sculptures, Francois aims to give us an alternate view to our fast-paced lifestyles, by crystallizing our everyday objects, resulting in a mixture of emotions to the viewer.
Every medium that François Bel works in, serves an approach that is both artistic and philosophical in nature. His series of found objects suspended within resin, as though frozen in the explosion’s ultimate moment of grace, make us reflect on passing time which is frittered away and undeniably survives us.
