to make good, again

to make good, again asks the artists and makers to define for each what it means to make, to make good, and to make good again, within their specific context of place, material, object, people and time.

These cycles of making and making good can be articulated through multiple modes and processes,

patterning / unpatterning / repatterning,
constructing / deconstructing / reconstructing,
composing / decomposing / recomposing,

each offering a way to repair.

Whether it is the materials we choose to work with, the knowledges we engage in, the notions that constitute our sense of self, or the temporal rhythm of thinking, making and creating, we ask, what are the conscious choices one makes in making and remaking. What is considered and what is at stake in these choices?
