In honour of Singapore’s 60th birthday, Leica Gallery presents To Stand and To Hold — a deeply personal and compelling photographic project by Dr. Ng King Kang, a renowned local journalist, creative, and thoughtful observer of human stories. This evocative exhibition features 21 portraits of everyday Singaporeans. From chefs and dancers to doctors, athletes and artists, Dr Ng captures the essence of identity — shaped not merely by circumstance, but by discipline, passion, and the quiet dignity of perseverance.
