In her book “Homo Aestheticus”, Ellen Dissanayake encapsulates the essence of art as “making important things or activities special.” Whether through the artefacts we encounter or the activities we engage in, art has the power to transform the mundane into the extraordinary. Artist Heather Li believes that our lives need art and creativity. Therefore, she hopes this exhibition will allow attendees to recognize the importance of art and experience the changes it can bring to our lives through observation and participation.
The proceeds from this exhibition will be donated to the Children’s Aid Society.
