“Typography as Muse: Beyond the Boundaries of Language,” is a multilingual typography exhibition organised by Japan-based type foundry Morisawa and co-curated by Singaporean type collective Death of Typography.
The exhibition gathers a vibrant group of designers from Singapore, Japan, South Korea, Thailand, Malaysia, Taiwan, and India to explore how typography can transcend linguistic boundaries and become a medium through which culture and identity are expressed and understood. Featuring contributions from creative directors, graphic designers, lecturers, and students, the exhibition promises a rich tapestry of perspectives and interpretations of the theme, reflecting the myriad languages and hybridised contemporary cultures that define Asia today.
