Singapore Dance Theatre (SDT) has made the decision to take the annual fundraising gala online. The Moon and Stars gala was originally scheduled to take place on 27 August 2020 at the Capitol Theatre.
The Virtual Fundraiser will be held on 31 July 2020, Friday, with Guest-of-Honour, Minister Grace Fu, in attendance. The event will be hosted by Hossan Leong and will feature a music presentation by Singaporean violinist, Lynnette Seah. It will also be featuring segments of Swipe by Val Caniparoli and the World Premiere of Celebration.
SDT’s annual gala is a vital event to aid the non-profit organisation financially. The fundraiser is accepting donation tiers of $500 and $1,000. All donations will qualify for a 250% tax reduction and receive acknowledgement in the programme booklets and SDT website. In addition, donors will be given a bottle of champagne and chocolates. Donations of $10,000 and above will receive a dedicated Donors Plaque.
