We Are All Made of Stories is Jayson Tejada’s solo exhibition of recent works. With his hue-saturated pieces resonating joyfulness and contentment in the simple life, Tejada gives art audiences a glimpse of Filipino culture and tradition as he creates a cohesive narrative connecting his paintings together.
With We Are All Made of Stories, Tejada makes each colour, moment and figure in his canvases embody love, dreams, hopes and prayers, combining them with the lyricism found in everyday life. Truly, it is these instances that count in our lives, as the artist captures the small and tall tales that make us laugh, cry, sing and dance.
