In celebration of International Women’s Day 2025, “WHAT DOESN’T KILL YOU” is an exhibition featuring Singapore-based artists Sunaina Bhalla and Hélène Le Chatelier, whose works reflect the beauty and complexity of endurance. Curated by Dr Michelle Lim, the show brings together embroidered drawings, photo-based works, and site-specific installations that explore the strength and vulnerability of the female body.
Showing at Art Outreach from 8 – 16 Mar 2025, this exhibition honours the strength and resilience of women artists who have navigated the delicate balance between personal and professional challenges. Coming together in dialogue for the first time, Bhalla and Chatelier’s works reveal how life’s trials not only forge resilience but also serve as a profound source of inspiration, transforming adversity into art.
