What Will We Wear? Uniforms for Singapore in 2065

From the school uniform to this season’s must have accessory, fashion embodies codes and cultures that discipline the bodies and communities that they adorn. What are the “uniforms” commonly worn (but not always recognised) in Singapore today, and how might values, norms and expectations be woven into their design? Led by Justin Zhuang, this workshop is no mere trend-spotting exercise, but ventures into the world of design fiction to speculate what uniforms we will need to live in Singapore come 2065.

Venue: The Substation, 45 Armenian Street, Singapore
