Martin Germann’s curatorial practice revolves around the artists’ needs and expectations. Engaging artists in a collaborative process allows to stretch the limits of an institution and find possible answers to the urgent question: “Where does art belong?”.
In this talk, Martin Germann will provide various examples of recent and remote projects as well as an introduction to S.M.A.K.’s unique politics in putting the artist at the centre of its activities.
