Capturing imagination. Changing lives. The World Press Photo exhibition, hailed as the “Oscars” of photojournalism, returns to Singapore at the National Museum from 3 to 26 March 2017.
Presented by The Straits Times, this exhibition showcases 145 prize-winning photographs that captured the most powerful, poignant and sometimes provocative news images from around the world.
The 2016 global contest drew more than 82,000 submissions from 5,775 photographers across 128 countries. Of these, the jury awarded prizes to 41 photographers from 21 countries, including Australia, China and Japan.
